Tu or Vous (They both mean YOU)
tu: you (singular, friendly)
Use tu to say you when talking to:
- children
- friends
- family members
- people you know very well
- people younger than you are
- people with whom you are on a first name basis
For example:
Pierre will use tu to talk to the following people:
