Quel temps fait-il? (What is the weather like?)
Describing the temperature:
- Il fait froid. (It is cold.)
- Il fait chaud. (It is warm.)
- Il fait très chaud. (It is hot.)
Describing the weather in general terms:
- Il fait beau. (It's beautiful out.)
- Il fait bon. (It's nice.)
- Il fait mauvais. (It's bad out.)
Describing sun, wind, and clouds:
- Il fait du soleil. (It's sunny.)
- Il fait du vent. (It's windy.)
- Il fait des nuages. (It's cloudy.)
Precipitation:
- Il pleut. (It's raining.)
- Il neige. (It's snowing.)
Les Saisons (The Seasons)
- l'hiver (the winter)
- le printemps (the spring)
- l’été (the summer)
- l'automne (the autumn)
Quel temps fait-il en hiver? (What is the weather like in the winter?)
Some possible answers are:
- Il fait froid.
- Il neige.
- Il fait mauvais.
