- 3 lbs Flank steak
- ¾ C soy sauce
- ¼ C brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp liquid smoke*
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Tabasco (or other hot sauce) (only 2 TBS for Kaleigh)
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
Cut steak in strips diagonally. Trim off excess fat. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and add met. Stir to coat and cover tightly. Marinate overnight or at least 6 hours, stirring from time to time. Arrange strips on wire racks over cookie sheets. Bake 10 hours @ 175. Remove from oven and blot dry with paper towels. Store in air-tight container.
