- 1 Pillsbury Plus Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 box (3oz.) instant vanilla pudding
- 1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese softened
- 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
- 1 cup cold milk
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup coconut
- ½ cup halved maraschino cherries.
Prepare cake mix according to directions. Bake only 20 to 25 min. in a greased 13x9 pan @ 350. Combine pudding mix with milk. Beat in cream cheese. Fold Cool Whip into pudding mixture. Spread mixture on cake which has cooled only 5 min. Drain pineapple and sprinkle on top of mixture. Sprinkle on the coconut., cherries and nuts. Put directly into refrigerator. Better to make a day ahead. Can also be frozen.
