- 2 tablespoons butter (no substitutions)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add milk slowly. Heat until boiling. Add a little of hot mixture to yolks and stir in. Add egg mixture back into milk mixture and cook slowly for two minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add flavoring. Coll thoroughly. Fill cream puffs crusts. Refrigerate after filling.
