Cakey Brownies

Tastes like brownies, but looks more like cake.

In a large saucepan heat sugar, butter, and cocoa over medium until butter melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat lightly just until combined.

Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to the chocolate mixture, beating after each addition. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased 15 X 10 X 1 inch baking pan.

Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
