Equipment List for La Bûche de Noël

This is the list that the French teacher from Tunkhannock gave students. I think they would go to school on a Saturday and bake in the school cafeteria.

Bring the following items in a large box. Put your name on each item and on the box.

• 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch baking pan
• waxed paper
• an electric mixer
• at least 4 clean cotton dishtowels (non-terry cloth, no fabric softener)
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 3 or 4 pot holders
• 1 or 2 dish cloths to wash dishes and counters
• 1 can opener (old-fashioned, manual)
• an apron
• a heavy-duty extension cord
• a pair of scissors
• a bottle of dishwashing liquid
• 2 large bowls, 4 small-to-medium bowls (more, if possible)
• 2 liquid measuring cups
• 1 set of measuring spoons
• 1 set of dry measuring cups
• 1 spatula
• 1 sifter
• several toothpicks
• 1 set fork, knife, spoon
• plastic holly or poinsettias
• your lunch
