Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil, and continue to boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add morsels and almond extract. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Chill 45 minutes. Form into 1-inch balls, working quickly to prevent melting. Roll in toasted almonds and chill until ready to serve.
