Cinnamon Swirl Bread

To make this bread, follow the Old-Fashioned White Bread recipe with the following adaptations.
  • Increase sugar to 1/3 c.
  • Increase butter to 1/4 c.
  • Mix together:
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 TBS cinnamon

After first rising roll out (with a rolling pin) to two 15 X 7 inch rectangles. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over each half. Sprinkle 1 1/2 tsp. of water over each rectangle. Roll into loaves. Continue with Old-Fashioned White Bread directions.
